Over the years, many patients have come to Dr. Whitfield with complaints of discomfort in their breasts, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, autoimmune issues and other symptoms commonly associated with Breast Implant Illness (BII).
“There is a subset of patients with breast implants who feel like their implants are making them sick. And because of their physical exam, which is essentially normal, most of their complaints have been brushed aside.”
Meet Dr. Robert Whitfield, MD or as we like to call him Dr. Rob. Dr. Rob is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in breast implant removal surgery, also known as explant surgery. He is known for his exceptional skill in performing complex procedures to remove breast implants and restore a natural-looking appearance to his patients.
